Benalmadena vs Costa del Sol

 The
first friendly match between the two clubs that use Benalmadena as their home
green took place on Wednesday 12th April. Ten players from each club took
part making up 2 rinks of pairs and 2 of rinks for this inaugural match.
Benalmadena won the toss to become the "home" side on this occasion
and a close match ensued. The result ending up 2 rinks to each side but
Costa del Sol won 77 points to 52.
There were rumours of at least a return match and maybe a
monthly challenge between the two clubs. |
