Benalmadena
hosted a visit by the Ystrad Mynach Bowling Club, Wales on the 27th September 2006.
 The 20 visitors made a game of 5 rinks and after a little
instruction from the Welsh Captain; Jim Nielson, the Benalmadena Captain for the
day, managed a perfect pronunciation of their club's name which received a
hearty round of applause. (Left - Love

 There was the usual spider, prizes were given for the nearest
and also for the furthest from the jack. (Right

 The final result was Benalmadena 2 rinks, the visitors 3 rinks
but Benalmadena won overall by 86 points to 72 points. With one exception,
all the games were very close. (Left -
